Kris Stauffer started taking piano lessons when he was five years old and at age 15, he began to play bass guitar. He has been playing music professionally for over 30 years for various local churches as well as variety bands, touring regionally and nationally.

In 2010, Kris joined Hitchville, a regionally touring modern country act that performs over 100 dates annually. He also managed the Live Entertainment Department at Valleyfair Amusement Park in Shakopee, Minnesota for 20 years, writing, producing, and directing over 60 music review shows while working with hundreds of performers. Since leaving Valleyfair in 2012, Kris has taught in various settings including directing musicals for Stepping Stone Theatre and local high schools, as well as working with junior and senior high rock bands at Garage Band in Chaska, MN.

Kris holds a B.A. in Music and Mathematics from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. He lives in Burnsville, Minnesota with his wife and two daughters.
